Throughout 2022, the MoD Team provided weekly updates. And as the game has matured, it will not be necessary to make changes as frequently. Releasing updates every Thursday may have brought excitement and curiosity about how the game has changed. However, it also set our focus on frequent and small updates. This came at a cost, as it slowed down our progress on bigger and more impactful features. Hence, this week moving forward, we will focus on less frequent but more meaningful updates which additionally means there will be no need to download a new client version every week. Nevertheless, even with fewer regular updates, we will still do smaller patches as needed, but the focus will be on fewer builds tied to larger feature releases. 😎 This adjustment will allow us to: 1️⃣ Test things more appropriately and inform users upfront about upcoming features 2️⃣ Attract more users with proper marketing campaigns aligned with big feature updates 3️⃣ Implement new things faster, as we spend less time deploying and testing weekly client builds (which had only a minor impact for most of you) We hope that you will also support and benefit from this change. Moreover, we just recently published our detailed roadmap for the first half of 2023 outlining which features we are focusing on at the moment.
